Family Tree Center

Inside the Family Tree Center

DearREADERS,
While visiting Salt Lake City this past month, I picked up a flyer on the new FAMILY TREE CENTER at 531 Main Street in Park City, Utah. Its sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and features:

-- free admission 10am to 9pm daily
-- free family history consultations
-- free computer services (650 million names)

Apparently this is to target those who will be attending to 2002 Winter Olympics.  The center itself has an attractive 3-dimensional tree, with photos, interactive videos and displays on the importance of families as a backdrop. It would appear that this is a "starting point" for those not yet accustomed to using www.FamilySearch.org , the Family History Library and any of the 3,400+ local branches in 75 countries throughout the world.

Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt     :)
