AOL will not support Mailing Lists - Part Two Archived
messages
DearREADERS,
Until you dear AOL members get your new email service up and running, you can
"Browse" and "Search" RootsWeb mailing list postings that
were normally delivered to your AOL email box. Simply go to:
http://lists.rootsweb.com/
Click to locate your mailing list. Then scroll past the subscribe/unsubscribe
instructions, to the part that lists:
Search the archives
Or
Browse the archives
In the case of DearMYRTLE, you can find previous DM postings at:

This is where you could view each month's columns in the order presented. This
archives only goes back to 1999, however.

This is where you may search for a particular topic. This archives is searchable
by year, and also only goes back to 1999.

This is the message board where I cross post all columns I send out to my
mailing list. I do this immediately after sending the email out, but before I
create the web page column. The first posting was also made in 1999.

where you will find DM postings in the form of an online genealogy column. The
site only goes back to 2001.
My next email will include a few suggestions for setting up an alternative email
address, and then using that email to subscribe to your favorite genealogy
