I was floored when I received a copy of the January Feb 2005 EVERTON'S GENEALOGICAL HELPER. Back in print and better than ever, it just the sort of genealogical shot in the arm I needed!

I particularly enjoyed "Heirloom Musical Instruments" and "Tracing the Scots-Irish." My heart warmed at the "Rock On" story of Peter & Connie Brandish and how a small group can preserve a local cemetery if they really put their minds (and hearts) into it. "News to Peruse" spotlights 15 items including the process for ordering NARA (National Archives Records Administration) records online. Queries are answered, and upcoming society meetings are listed. This issue provides the annual directory of archives & libraries.
