Verifying Myrt's Identity
Please be advised that DearMYRTLE-L Mailing List at RootsWeb is a "read-only" mailing list, meaning it can only distribute posts from the email addresses ol' Myrt here specifies. All other email written to the list, only goes to my regular Myrt@DearMYRTLE.com email account, which isn't working at this time.
Just received feedback from a regular reader who questions whether I sent out email from my very old DearMYRTLE@aol.com email address about ten minutes ago. I have been unable to consistently send/receive email on my Myrt@DearMYRTLE.com for about 36 hours now, because the company (GoDaddy.com) that provides server space for DearMYRTLE is having trouble with their mail servers.
Less than 100% service happens from time to time with any ISP or email server. All of us on AOL remember that from time to time you'd try to send or read email, and you'd get an onscreen message stating that service was unavailable for a period of time.
If you absolutely have to get a message through, while GoDaddy.com is fixing the email servers, these are my alternate emails:
I have a few other email accounts, but I will check these regularly.
If you don't want to open a suspect email, consider checking my website to read each article. At this point it is still up and running.
