held in Cheyenne, Wyoming

A Sizzlin’ Spectacular in Cheyenne, Wyoming
Cheyenne can be cool in October, but for anyone interested in family history
things will be Sizzlin-hot at the Hitching Post Inn! October 20-21 brings the
first annual Genealogy & Family Heritage Jamboree. Cheyenne, Wyoming will be the
place to be for genealogists who want fun and fabulous educational classes and
products—all at an unbeatable price. There is something valuable for everyone,
from beginners through advanced levels. As a matter of fact, more than 60
classes are being offered by many of the best local and national family history
professionals, making 60 great reasons to come and bring your friends and
family. My Ancestors Found and the Cheyenne Genealogical Society are sponsoring
this event. There will be a host of volunteers there to help you register, find
your way around, and introduce the classes.
The conference will be held at the Historic Best Western Hitching Post Inn, 1700
W. Lincolnway, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Hitching Post Inn is a large attractive
facility with ample free parking for everyone. The Hitching Post Inn has two
great restaurants and will be prepared for a large and wonderful group of
genealogists.
In the exhibit areas, more than 20 vendors will be available, offering
everything from books and software to awe-inspiring family trees and entire
family history kits – all to get you sizzlin’ into your genealogy. Fantastic
door prizes and exhibitor prizes are being offered as an added bonus and a fun
incentive to check out the exhibit hall. FamilySearch Help center will be there,

Highlights of the Jamboree – DearMYRTLE and Beau Sharbrough

persona, will be joining the festivities Friday as the Keynote Speaker at the

an internationally recognized genealogist and former president of GENTECH, Inc.
